Springfield, Mass. – December 5, 2025 – Four student-athletes from the Springfield College women's soccer program were recently named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team for their efforts on the field and in the classroom.
This year's Springfield College women's soccer recipients included
Kaitlyn Suller (Oviedo, Fla.),
Meredith Healy (Niantic, Conn.),
Mirabel Brunell (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and

The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of 3.50 or higher, compete in 90-percent of the team's games played OR start in at least 66-percent of the team's games over the course of the season.
Suller, a sports biology major with a 3.86 grade point average, led the women's soccer team offensively with 23 points – eight goals and seven assists this fall. Over her four year career, Suller totaled 16 goals and 16 assists in 64 career matches and played nearly 5,000 minutes in the maroon and white. Suller was also honored with a spot on the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team.
Healy, an elementary education major with a 3.74 grade point average, earned her place on the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team after tying Suller for the most goals on the team this fall with eight. She also added two assists totaling 18 points during her senior season. In 71 career games, Healy registered 17 goals and 14 assists for 48 points with her setting new career-highs in both goals and points in 2025. Three of her eight goals also were game winners.
Brunell, a health science major with a 3.98 grade point average and Mottura, a health science major with a 3.78 grade point average, were part of the Springfield defensive unit this year that held opponents to 2.15 goals per game and recorded a trio of clean sheets. These four led Springfield to the number two seed in the NEWMAC Championship tournament and to the conference title game for the first time since 2021. The Pride produced 11 wins including eight in conference play under the direction of first year head coach
