Worcester, Mass. – December 7, 2025 – The Springfield College women's swimming and diving team wrapped up competition at the 2025 Gompei Invitational on Sunday evening on the campus of WPI.
In the combined team scoring meet, Springfield finished sixth overall with 3270 points. Host WPI won the meet with 8752 points, Division II Bentley University finished second with 5091 points and Division I Saint Peter's University finished third with 4288.5 points.
Lena Thompson (Bow, N.H.),
Lizzy McMahon (Rensselaer, N.Y.),
Emma Savoie (Milford, Conn.) and
Natalie Norbut (Bristol, Conn.) combined for an 11th place finish in the 400-free relay with a time of 3:45.73.
Thompson and Norbut competed in the 100-free with times of 54.90 and 56.68, respectively, while McMahon and Savoie swam in the 200-back clocking times of 2:10.72 and 2:18.79, respectively. Norbut also clocked a 33.57 in the 50-breast ahead of
Avery Van Tassel (Bay Shore, N.Y.), who swam a 34.05.
Erica Kerner (Cherry Hill, N.J.) and
Katherine Wade (Sturbridge, Mass.) competed in the 200-fly with times of 2:27.87 and 2:38.07, respectively, while
Kylie Nordenstrom (Blaine, Minn.) and
Ally Burnett (Rochester, N.Y.) closed the meet in the 1650-free with times of 18:48.27 and 19:27.59.
Springfield will travel to Hartwick for a double dual on January 10 at 1:00 pm as the Pride will swim against the host Hawks and Union College.
