Springfield, Mass. – December 9, 2025 – The Springfield College men's gymnastics team and head coach
Matthew Davis '08 G'10 has officially announced the program's 2026 schedule, which is slated to get underway on January 10 on the road at the US Naval Academy.
FULL SCHEDULE
Springfield will compete in ten meets and if the Pride qualify will travel to its 11th meet in the NCAA Championships set for mid-April. Springfield's first dual of the year takes the Pride to Annapolis for a meet with Navy on January 10 before heading to Army for the West Point Open on January 16 and 17. Springfield will then wrap up January with a trip back go Maryland for the Navy Open on the 24th.
Springfield will host its first meet of the season on February 1 in Blake Arena against William & Mary before traveling for three straight duals with Michigan on February 14, Penn State on March 1 and Army on March 7. The Pride will wrap up the regular season with a senior day dual with Navy on March 14 against Navy.
The postseason begins on March 20 for the USAG Championships, which will take place at Air Force before the ECAC Championships being on April 4 at Army. Those who qualify will travel to the University of Illinois for the 2026 NCAA Championships on April 17 and 18.
A season ago, Springfield sent 11 student-athletes to the NCAA Championships, placed fourth at ECAC's behind a gold medal from
Kaleb Palacio (Barcliff, Texas) and saw the team earn six All-America accolades from the USAG and CGA.
