Tempe, Ariz. – July 28, 2025 – The Springfield College men's and women's tennis programs have earned the International Tennis Association's (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for their hard work in the classroom this past year.
In order to earn the ITA All-Academic Team Award, a program must have a team grade point average of 3.20 or above on a 4.00 scale. Across Division III, there were 135 men's tennis programs and 165 women's tennis programs that earned this award this spring. Springfield College was one of five men's teams and one of seven women's squads from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) to earn the accolade.
Additionally, ten student-athletes from the men's team and seven student-athletes from the women's squad were named ITA Scholar-Athletes for having the grade point average of a 3.5 on a 4.00 scale for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Ethan Gomulka (San Bernardino, Calif.),
Liam Huppke (Markham, Canada),
Marten Schalin (Taby, Sweden), and
Zach Taub (New Windsor, N.Y.).
Earning the honor from the women's team were
Kelly McGoldrick (Monroe, N.Y.),
Ramida Manataweewat (Bangkok, Thailand),
Alysa Elliott (Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia),
Emalee Chaisson (Belchertown, Mass.),
Natalia Peyon (Hong Kong),
Ava Shea (Belchertown, Mass.), and
Kapom Vettayawaikoon (Phuket, Thailand).
