Springfield, Mass. - September 25, 2025 - Three student-athletes from the Springfield College men's golf team earned All-Conference honors from the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) following this weekend's championship event.
For the third consecutive season senior
David Girouard (Chicopee, Mass.) and junior
Amir Ardolino (Wilbraham, Mass.) took home All-Conference accolades, while first-year
Ryan Wood (Foxborough, Mass.)garnered All-Conference honors for the first time in his collegiate career.
Girouard earned a spot on the All-MASCAC First Team for the third straight season after tying for first place on Sunday. The senior produced a two-day score of 153 (+9) with a round one score of 79 and a round two score of 74 needing a playoff hole with Matthew Tramonte of Salem State University to determine the individual medalist. In 36 holes over the weekend, Girouard registered a quartet of birdies and 21 pars.
Wood was placed on the All-MASCAC First Team following his rookie campaign with a two day score of 156 (+12) tying him for third place in the field of 35 student-athletes. Wood registered a round one score of 77 and a round two score of 79 with a pair of birdies across his two rounds at Blissful Meadows. He also recorded 24 pars across 36 holes over the weekend.
Ardolino took home his third career nod to the All-MASCAC team earning a spot on the Second Team in 2025. The junior finished eighth overall with a two-day score of 159 (+15) with a round one mark of 83 and a round two score of 76. Ardolino produced a trio of birdies across his 36 holes, including two on the final day as well as 20 pars across 36 holes at the championship meet.
Springfield will travel to Troy, New York for the RPI Invitational at Shaker Ridge beginning on October 5.
