Providence, R.I. - January 11, 2026 - The Springfield College women's gymnastics team opened the 2026 season with a fourth place finish in a quad meet hosted by Brown on Sunday afternoon.
Brown won the meet with a score of 193.025 and was followed by Southern Connecticut (190.725), RIC (189.325) and Springfield (183.425).
Kora Donley (New Orleans, La.) had the highest finish on the floor for the Pride with a score of 9.700 while Stacy Taylor (Biddeford, Maine) was close behind with a mark of 9.650.
Both Taylor and Sage Kaplan (Auburn, Mass.) registered a 9.525 on the vault as the top finishers for Springfield. On the uneven bars, Emma Skowronek (West Chester, Pa.) led the Pride with a mark of 9.275.
Reagan Charlton (Bentonville, Ark.) and Brooke Ginter (East Berlin, Pa.) recorded a top-ten finish on the balance beam with a score of 9.500.
Springfield will travel to Southern Connecticut on Saturday, January 17 at 2:00 pm for a quad meet with Utica and RIC.
