Amherst, Mass. - January 24, 2026 - The Springfield College women's swimming and diving program fell to Amherst in a dual meet on Friday night, 181-54.
The 200-medley relay team of Lizzy McMahon (Rensselaer, N.Y.), Natalie Norbut (Bristol, Conn.), Avery Van Tassel (Bay Shore, N.Y. ) and Ally Burnett (Rochester, N.Y.) led off the meet with a 1:57.07 finish.Â
Individually, McMahon posted two second place finishes, one coming in the 100-back with a time of 1:00.15 and the other in the 100-fly with a time of 1:02.51. Katherine Wade (Sturbridge, Mass.) took third in the 100-fly at 1:11.06. Norbut took a third place finish in the 100-IM and 200-IM posting times of 1:04.14 and 2:18.36, respectively.Â
In the 500-free, Kylie Nordenstrom (Blaine, Minn.) came in third with a time of 5:33.23 while Paige Levine (Holtsville, N.Y.) finished fourth in 5:48.56. Burnett, Levin, Nordenstrom and Emma Savoie (Milford, Conn.) teamed up for a third place finish in the 200-free relay with a time of 1:46.41.Â
In the diving well, Elizabeth Santos (Chicopee, Mass.) produced two third place finishes scoring a 244.12 on the 1-meter board and a 239.03 on the 3-meter board. McKenzie Aparo (Bristol, Conn.) came in fourth in both the 1-meter board and 3-meter board posting scores of 223.65 and 226.80, respectively. Bridgette Hogan (Marshfield, Mass.) came in fifth in the 1-meter board with a score of 217.26.Â
The Pride head to Smith for a tri-meet with Wellesley on Saturday, January 24 at 12:00 pm.Â
