Box Score Hartford, Conn. - March 1, 2026 - The Springfield College men's tennis team fell to Trinity (Conn.) in a Sunday afternoon matchup, 6-1.
With the win, the Bantams get their first win of the year at 1-0 while the Pride drop to 3-2 overall.
Tim Norin (Stockholm, Sweden) and Ethan Gomulka (San Bernardino, Calif.) kicked off the match with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles before Trinity won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles with 6-3 decisions.
Angelo Guzman (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) was the lone singles winner for the Pride, taking the win at No. 1, defeating Luca Gartbati 6-4, 6-3 before the Bantams swept the final five singles points.
Springfield will head to Orlando, Fla. from March 16-19 to compete in four dual matches.
