Northborough, Mass. – May 20, 2026 – For the first time in her career, Springfield College women's lacrosse junior
Izzy Lalancette (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Berkshire Region Second Team.
Lalancette, who was earlier named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) All-Conference First Team, led the Pride with a team-high 40 goals while tallying seven assists as the junior notched her 100th career goal in late March. She was second on the team in multiple categories including points (47), ground balls (29) and caused turnovers (19).
Lalancette was one of ten student-athletes from the NEWMAC to earn All-Region accolades from the IWLCA this spring. As a team, Springfield capped its 2026 campaign with an overall record of 11-7 and a mark of 8-2 in conference play. The Pride once again reached the NEWMAC semifinal round and during the regular season took down No. 17 Babson for the first time since 2022.
