Babson Park, Mass. - April 20, 2022 - The Springfield College men's tennis fell on the road at Babson College, 9-0, in a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) meeting.
In doubles, Fabian Jensen (Stavanger, Norway) and Waseem Salbon (Stoughton, Mass.) hung tough against Babson No. 1 pairing of Law and Zhang, but fell 8-6. In singles action, Jiahe Ye (Beijing, China) forced a third set with a 6-4 win in the second over Cestero, however, Cestero held on for the 10-8 victory. Babson swept the rest of the singles matches.
On Saturday, Springfield will host Coast Guard at 12 pm.
