West Point, N.Y. - January 14, 2023 - Five Springfield College men's gymnasts competed in the individual finals of the 2023 West Point Open on Saturday night. 

Three student-athletes finished fifth on their events as David Handron (Pittsburgh, Pa.) scored a 12.800 on the rings, Jakarie Williams (Stockbridge, Ga.) delivered a 13.900 on the vault, and Sam Kaplan (Fairhaven, Mass.) notched a 12.850 on the parallel bars.

Felix Kriedemann (Strasslach, Germany) took sixth on the floor exercise as he was credited with a 13.300 and Jaden Laubstein (Oakland, Calif.) registered a 11.650 en route to an eighth-place finish on the pommel horse. 

Next Saturday, Springfield will head to Maryland for the Navy Open.
