Springfield, Mass. - November 27, 2023 - The Springfield College softball team is set to host a winter prospect clinic on Sunday, January 28, 2024 open to student-athletes graduating in the year of 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, and 2028. The clinic is offered to provide an opportunity to experience a day of skill development, training and competition.
Participants will participant in fielding, hitting, and baserunning. Participants must pick a primary position for the fielding portion (Pitcher, Catcher, Infield, or Outfield). At the end of the clinic there will be a Q & A with the Springfield College Softball players and coaches.
The clinic will be split into two sessions with an option to attend both. The full clinic starts at 9:00 am. Session one is from 9am - 10am for pitchers and catchers, while session two will be from 10am - 1pm and focus on field positions, base running and hitting. Both sessions will take place in the Springfield College Field House.
Please bring all softball equipment: bat, glove, sneakers, batting gloves, softball pants, catchers equipment (if catcher), batting helmet, and water bottle. Please note: No cleats are allowed in the field house.
