Springfield, Mass. - September 1, 2023 - The Springfield College softball team is set to host a fall prospect clinic on Sunday, September 17, 2023 open to student-athletes graduating in the year of 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028. The clinic is offered to provide an opportunity to experience a day of skill development, training and competition.
The clinic will be split into two sessions with an option to attend both. The full clinic starts at 2:00 pm and will conclude at 6:00 pm. Session one is from 2pm - 3pm for pitchers and catchers, while session two will be from 3pm to 6pm and focus on field positions, base running and hitting. This clinic is offered to provide an opportunity to develop in hitting, fielding, pitching/catching, and baserunning from the Springfield College Softball players and coaches. The first session will take place in the Springfield College Field House, then transition out to Potter Field for session two.
Please bring all softball equipment: bat, glove, sneakers, batting gloves, softball pants, catchers equipment (if catcher), batting helmet, and water bottle.
Please note: The softball field is completely turf and no metal cleats are allowed. Please bring turfs, molded cleats or sneakers only.
