New London, Conn. – October 18, 2025 – The Springfield College women's cross country team finished 10th overall in the 6000-meter course at the 2025 Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday morning at Harkness Park.
Springfield produced a team score of 345 points among a competitive field that featured seven nationally ranked programs including No. 1 NYU, No. 2 Williams, No. 5 MIT, No. 12 Amherst, No. 13 Middlebury, No. 18 Tufts, and No. 19 Vassar.
Kristina Kyle (Watertown, Conn.) led the Pride with a seventh place finish as she crossed the line at 22:35.60.
Kami Wolodyka (Three Rivers, Mass.) was the next finisher for Springfield coming in 59th at 23:41.80,
Sara St. Germain (Somers, Conn.) clocked 24:29.10 for 106th,
Kayleigh Jensen (Salem, Conn.) finished at 24:44.90 for 127th, and
Meghan Sullivan (Easthampton, Mass.) was close behind at 24:46.10 in 128th to round out the top five for the Pride.
Right outside of the top five were
Hannah McCarthy (Beverly, Mass.) at 25:05.00,
Leah Castle (Ashford, Conn.) at 25:06.10,
Elisa Narain (Holden, Mass.) at 25:28.30,
Meghan Conway (Nashua, N.H.) at 27:52.90,
Taylor Desmarais (Berlin, Conn.) at 27:56.70, and
Brooke Ferrare (Waterbury, Conn.) at 30:05.50.
The Pride will have a week off before heading to Attleboro, Mass. on November 1 for the 2025 NEWMAC Championships.
