Marlborough, Mass. - December 8, 2025 - Springfield College junior Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Week for the third time this season.

Butler came in first place on both boards with a pair of NCAA Diving Regional scores at this weekend's LGR Invitational. Butler recorded an 11-dive NCAA diving regional qualifying score of 541.70 on the three-meter board and an 11-dive NCAA diving regional qualifying score of 498.20 on the one-meter board to lead the Pride over the weekend. His 3-meter score broke RPI's pool record that has stood since 1996, while his 1-meter score broke RPI's pool record that has stood since 1986.

Springfield will await the new year and travel to Hartwick on January 10 at 1:00 pm as the Pride will compete against the host Hawks and Union College.
