Boston, Mass. – March 1, 2025 – The Springfield College men's track and field team produced a 15th place finish at the 2025 New England Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the Track at New Balance.
Mike Anderson (Cromwell, Conn.) and
Michael Scott (Shoreview, Minn.) produced a pair of third place finishes on the track for the Pride as Anderson ran a school record time of 8.16 in the 60-meter hurdles, while Scott brought down the school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.58.
Joe Wong (Brighton, Mass.) registered a ninth place finish in the 800-meter run in 1:53.23, while
Colin Hansen (Ipswich, Mass.) took ninth in the 400-meter dash in 48.63. He was followed by
Tyler Fabbri (Andover, Mass.), who took 26th in the 400-meter dash in 49.89.
Fabbri, Scott,
Seth Twarog (Southampton, Mass.) and Hansen produced a tenth place finish in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:21.02 to round out the highlights on the track for Springfield.
Alex McKenney (Ossining, N.Y.) cleared 4.29-meters for 14th in the pole vault,
Daniel McGlashan (Haverhill, Mass.) registered a leap of 13.06-meters for 13th in the triple jump and
Max Torres (Springfield, Mass.) cleared 1.85-meters for 18th in the high jump.
Select student-athletes who have qualified will compete in next weekend's AARTFC Indoor Championships at Ithaca College.
