Middletown, Conn. - September 20, 2025 - The Springfield College women's cross country team finished tenth while competing at the Wesleyan Cardinal Invitational this afternoon.
In a meet that featured some of the top programs around New England, including U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) No. 1 nationally-ranked MIT, the Pride produced 266 points and were led by
Kami Wlodyka (Three Rivers, Mass.), who finished 6000-meter course in 23:42.27 crossing the line in 45th overall. The competition also Keene State who is ranked No. 10 in the USTFCCA East Region and Division I New Haven.
Sara St. Germain (Somers, Conn.) clocked 24:32.21 for 65th place,
Kayleigh Jensen (Salem, Conn.) finished with a time of 24:50.30 for 78th,
Hannah McCarthy (Beverly, Mass.) crossed the line in 25:03.76, and
Meghan Sullivan (Easthampton, Mass.) finished in 25:17.50 for 90th to round out the top five for the Pride.
Lauren Roche (Corning, N.Y.) finished with a time of 25:33.73 for 93rd,
Elisa Narain (Holden, Mass.) crossed the line at 25:36.25 for 95th, and
Leah Castle (Ashford, Conn.) clocked 25:36.36 for 96th to round out those that finished within the top one hundred.
Also competing for the Pride were
Taylor Desmarais (Berlin, Conn.) who finished in 27:08.13,
Meghan Conway (Nashua, N.H.) in 28:00.20, and
Brooke Ferrare (Waterbury, Conn.) in 32:41.08.
The Pride will return to action on October 4 for the Keene State Invitational at the Owl Athletic Complex.
