Springfield, Mass. – February 24, 2026 – After opening the season at Stevens on Saturday, Springfield College junior Jake Degnan (Mahopac, N.Y.) was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Team of the Week.

In the 18-8 setback to the ninth-ranked Ducks, Degnan recorded his 17th career hat trick with a team-best three goals and one assist for our points. He also scooped up one ground ball in the effort for the Pride.

Springfield (0-1) will return to action on Thursday with its home opener against Union College (NY) on Stagg Field.
