Springfield, Mass. – February 3, 2026 - Recognized for their efforts in the classroom and in the pool, the Springfield College men's and women's swimming and diving programs earned Collegiate Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team honors.

This fall, a total of 701 programs from 411 institutions were represented on the CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. In order to qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to exhibit exceptional grade point averages during the Fall 2025 semester.

In addition, the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) was one of league in the nation to see every institution earn Scholar All-America accolades this year. The Springfield College women's program produced the top grade point average in the conference with a 3.85 leading Smith (3.71) and MIT (3.70) and ranked second in all of Division III only behind Monmouth College (3.87). The Springfield College men's program ranked third in the NEWMAC with a 3.51 grade point average only behind MIT (3.68) and WPI (3.58).

"The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."

Springfield will host senior day on Saturday at 11:00 am against Babson before gearing up for the NEWMAC Championships from February 19-22 at MIT.
