Springfield, Mass. - February 8, 2026 - The Springfield College women's gymnastics team competed against Brown and RIC for a tri meet in Blake Arena on Sunday afternoon.
Brown won the meet with 194.550 points and was followed by RIC with 189.775 points and Springfield with 186.900 points.Â
The Pride produced its highest score on the floor since February 15, 2025 at RIC after Kora Donley (New Orleans, La.), Julia Reer (Cedar Grove, N.J. ), Stacy Taylor (Biddeford, Maine), Sage Kaplan (Auburn, Mass.) and Claire Gieger (Independence, Ky.) put together a 48.100 performance.Â
Taylor led the Pride on the vault finishing seventh with a score of 9.625 while Kaplan tied for eighth with a score of 9.550. Donley came in tenth with a score of 9.525.Â
Kaplan scored a 9.225 on the uneven bars to lead the Pride. Reagan Charlton (Bentonville, Ark.) and Abby Walters (Lake Grove, N.Y.) tied for a sixth place finish on balance beam with a score of 9.650.Â
Donley took fourth on the floor exercise with a score of 9.750 and Reer tied for fifth with a score of 9.725.Â
Springfield will head to RIC for a dual meet on Saturday at 12:00 pm.Â
