Marlborough, Mass. - February 9, 2026 - Springfield College men's swimming and diving junior Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) has been named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Diver of the Week for the sixth time this season after an impressive performance against Babson on Saturday. 

Butler continued to dominate in both disciplines with a sweep of both sides against Babson, producing a 3-meter 11 dive score of 505.36 and a 1-meter 11 dive score of 500.93 which are well above the needed mark for NCAA regional qualification.

The Pride will compete in the NEWMAC Championships at MIT from February 19-22.
