Marlborough, Mass. - April 6, 2026 - Springfield College men's lacrosse junior Jake Degnan (Mahopac, N.Y.) was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week after helping lift the Pride to a Saturday afternoon win. 

Degnan recorded three goals and two assists for five points to go along with six ground balls in a dominant 17-4 NEWMAC win at Emerson on Saturday. Degnan scored a goal in each of the first three quarters, while his pair of assists came late in the second that put the Pride ahead 8-0 at the time.

The Pride host Wheaton (Mass.) on Saturday in a NEWMAC matchup at 12:00 pm on Stagg Field.
