Worcester, Mass. — April 8, 2011 — Amanda Novak‘s three-run home run proved to the big hit as the Springfield College softball team defeated WPI , 5-1, in game #1 of a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference game at WPI.

With the win, Springfield is now 14-10 overall, 6-3 in the NEWMAC.
