Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - October 12, 2024 - The Springfield College golf team returned to action and competed in the Skidmore Invitational on Saturday afternoon. 

While playing at the Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course, which measured 7,145 yards as a Par 72, Springfield totaled 337 strokes and is in 21st place as a team.

David Girouard (Chicopee, Mass.) had 11 pars as he posted a team-best 80, totaling a 40 on each side.  Aidan Strebel (Branford, Conn.) notched seven pars and delivered an eagle en route to his 82, while Amir Ardolino (Wilbraham, Mass.) also had seven pars in his round of 85. Aaron Murakami (South Burlington, Vt.) registered eight pars and a birdie as he returned to the lineup with a 90 and Joe Bernasconi (Amherst, N.H.) had a team-best two birdies in his debut with a 95.
