Troy, N.Y. – December 8, 2024 - Sophomore Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) swept both boards at RPI's LGR Invitational over the weekend with two qualifying marks for the 2025 NCAA Division III Diving Regional competition.

On Saturday, the Pride competed on the 1-meter board and swept the top three places. Butler continued his dominant season with a first place finish and an NCAA diving regional qualifying score of 510.80. Andrew Testa (North Attleboro, Mass.) took second with 361.20 points and Tyler Khongkham (Easthampton, Conn.) finished third with 290.70 points.
 
Then on Sunday, Butler registered a mark of 513.40 points on the 3-meter board, while Testa finished fourth with 347.85 points.

Springfield will return to dual meet action on January 11 at Union College.
