Troy, N.Y. – December 6, 2025 – Three men's divers from Springfield College competed at the Let's Go Red Dive Invitational at RPI this weekend as
Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) swept both boards for the Pride.
Butler recorded an 11-dive NCAA diving regional qualifying score of 541.70 on the three meter board and an 11-dive NCAA diving regional qualifying score of 498.20 on the one meter board. Behind Butler in both disciplines was
Tyler Khongkham (East Hampton, Conn.), who notched a three meter score of 395.55 and a one meter score of 403.20.
Butler's three-meter score broke RPI's pool record that has stood since 1996, while his one-meter score broke RPI's pool record that has stood since 1986.
Andrew Testa (North Attleboro, Mass.) rounded out the highlights for the Pride with a third place finish on both boards tallying a three meter score of 367.95 and a one meter score of 374.60.
Springfield will travel to Hartwick for a double dual on January 10 at 1:00 pm as the Pride will swim against the host Hawks and Union College.
