New London, Conn. – February 27, 2026 – For the third straight season, junior Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) represented the Springfield College men's diving team at the NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships. Today's meet was held on the campus of Connecticut College and its Lott Natatorium.

Butler competed against 11 other divers from the region and finished in seventh place on the 3-meter board with a total score of 422.15. Carter Cove of Merchant Marine won the regional title with 500.00 points and was followed by Haochen Liu of Williams (482.10) and Calder Biondi (479.20).

The Northeast-North region will send four men's divers and seven women's divers to the NCAA Division III National Championships in March. Selections will officially be announced by the NCAA on Monday, March 2.
