New London, Conn. - February 28, 2026 - Springfield College men's diving junior Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) wrapped up his time at the NCAA Division III Northeast-North Diving Regional Championships on Saturday afternoon. 

Butler competed against 13 other divers from the region and finished in fifth place on the 1-meter board with a total score of 438.20. Jay Wilkinson of Tufts won the regional title with 479.55 points and was followed by Carter Kov of Merchant Marine (472.60) and Calder Biondi of Williams (470.85).

The Northeast-North region will send four men's divers and seven women's divers to the NCAA Division III National Championships in March. Selections will officially be announced by the NCAA on Monday, March 2.
