Waterville, Maine – March 1, 2024 – Springfield College first-year Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) competed on day one of the 2024 NCAA Division III Diving Regional held on the campus of Colby College this afternoon.

In the field of 16 student-athletes who competed on the 3-meter board today, Butler finished in tenth place with a score of 418.70. Thomas Cable from Merchant Marine won the event with a score of 510.65, teammate Devin Dyer took second with a score of 488.90 and Haochen Liu of Williams College finished third with a score of 475.80.

Butler will be back in action tomorrow afternoon on the 1-meter board for a chance to qualify for the 2024 NCAA Division III National Championships.
