Westfield, Mass. – October 11, 2025 – The Springfield College men's cross country team produced a fourth place finish on Saturday morning at the James Earley Invitational at Stanley Park.
Springfield registered a team score of 153 points only behind eighth-ranked Williams College, UMaine Farmington and host Westfield State. The Pride were led individually by sophomore
Andrew Petropulos (Williamstown, Mass.), who crossed the line 26th in a time of 27:25.62.
Gabe Schaeffer (Selinsgrove, Pa.) finished right behind Petropulos in 27th in 27:32.95 and was followed by
Jeremiah Singer (Barnstable, Mass.) in 37th in 27:55.90,
Harry Yablon (Bellport, N.Y.) in 38th in 28:01.24 and
Ty Sanges (Gloversville, N.Y.) in 52nd in 28:40.32 rounding out the top five.
Slade Harding (Malden, Mass.) recorded a 56th place finish in 28:43.71,
Jacob Merenda (Madison, Conn.)took 64th in 29:01.93,
Ayden Collura (Rocky Hill, Conn.) took 99th in 30:30.04,
Austyn Neidel (Glastonbury, Conn.) finished 117th in 31:10.83 and
Matthias Cambi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) took 152nd in 33.29.10.
Springfield will return to action next Saturday at the Connecticut College Invitational held at Harkness Park in New London.
