Keene, N.H. - October 4, 2025 - The Springfield College men's cross country team finished 11th out of 26 teams in the Keene State Invitational this morning.
No. 9 nationally-ranked Williams won the meet with 31 points while No. 7 nationally-ranked Tufts finished closely behind with 32 points. The Pride were paced by
Andrew Petropulos (Williamstown, Mass.) who finished 63rd with a time of 26:40.50 in the eight kilometer course.
Gabe Schaeffer (Selinsgrove, Pa.) produced a time of 26:53.60 for 73rd,
Harry Yablon (Bellport, N.Y.) clocked a time of 26:59.50 for 83rd,
Jeremiah Singer (Barnstable, Mass.) finished in 27:29.40 for 109th, and
Ty Sanges (Gloversville, N.Y.) crossed the line in 28:10.40 for 140th to round out the top five for the Pride.
Just outside of the top five for Springfield were
Slade Harding (Malden, Mass.) in 28:31.90,
Jacob Merenda (Madison, Conn) in 28:41.90,
Ayden Collura (Rocky Hill, Conn.) in 28:57.70,
Matthew Lara (Haddam, Conn.) in 30:18.00,
Austyn Neidel (Glastonbury, Conn) in 31:34.00, and
Matthias Cambi (Brooklyn, N.Y.) in 34:44.80.
The Pride will travel to Westfield State to compete in the James Earley Invitational on Saturday, October 11 at Stanley Park.
