St. Lawrence, N.Y. - November 15, 2025 - The Springfield College men's cross country team finished 17th out of 26 teams at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships on Saturday morning.

The Pride produced 501 points in the eight kilometer course against a strong group of competition with RPI taking the meet with 44 points. Andrew Petropulos (Williamstown, Mass.) led the effort for the Pride finishing 77th in 27:29.4.

Gabe Schaeffer (Selinsgrove, Pa.) crossed the finish line close behind in 97th Petropulos in 27:47.5, Harry Yablon (Bellport, N.Y.) finished 100th in 27:51.8, Ty Sanges (Gloversville, N.Y.) came in 109th in 28:08.8, and Elijah Quinn (Holyoke, Mass.) crossed at 119th in 28:27.0 to round out the top-five for Springfield. 

Just outside of the top-five runners were Jacob Merenda (Madison, Conn.) in 29:04.0 and Jeremiah Singer (Barnstable, Mass.) in 31:11.7.
