Colorado Springs, Colo. - December 10, 2025 - Springfield College field hockey first-year Rachel Simkewicz (Westminster, Mass.) has been named to the  2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-Region I First Team after an impressive debut season.

Earlier this fall, Simkewicz was named the 2025 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Rookie of the Year along with earning a spot on the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team. She was the top-scoring first-year in the NEWMAC and led the Pride with 16 goals while dishing out four assists for a team-best 36 points. Simkewicz ranked third in the NEWMAC in goals and fifth in points, and also recorded a hat-trick in an 8-0 win on October 1 against Hartford.
