Springfield, Mass. – March 1, 2025 – Sophomore Christian Butler (North Haven, Conn.) finished as the runner-up on the 1-meter board to cap his stellar weekend at the NCAA Division III Northeast-North Regional Championships held inside Art Linkletter Natatorium.

Butler registered a score of 462.25 this afternoon to tie with Thomas Cable of Merchant Marine for second place on the 1-meter board vying for a spot at the NCAA Division III National Championships in a few weeks. Calder Biondi won the regional title with a mark of 483.75.

Official qualifiers for the national championships will be announced early next week as Butler looks to join women's swimmer Nina Lamb (Killingworth, Conn.) in Greensboro in a few short weeks.
