Bridgeport, Conn. - January 24, 2026 - The Springfield College women's gymnastics team finished fourth in a quad meet at Bridgeport on Saturday night. Bridgeport won the meet with a score of 194.050 and was followed by LIU (194.00), Brown (192.375), and Springfield (189.875).
The Pride broke the program record on the balance beam with a team score of 48.450, besting the previous total of 48.350 which was set on March 3, 2019 against RIC. On the beam, Ava Kelley (Mashpee, Mass.) tied for fifth after posting a 9.775 while Brooke Ginter (East Berlin, Pa.) tied for tenth with a 9.725 and Kora Donley (New Orleans, La.) posted a 9.700.
Stacy Taylor (Biddeford, Maine) tied for sixth on the floor with a 9.775 as Julia Reer (Cedar Grove, N.J.) and Sage Kaplan (Auburn, Mass.) were close behind with a 9.725 and 9.700, respectively.
Taylor led the Pride on the vault with a score of 9.600 as Kaplan followed with a 9.575. Sydney Bendick (Shirley, N.Y.) had the top finish for Springfield on the uneven bars with a 9.425.
Springfield will head to Ithaca for a tri meet with RIC on Sunday, February 1 at 12:00 pm.
