Springfield, Mass. - January 28, 2026 - Springfield College women's gymnastics junior Ava Kelley (Mashpee, Mass.) has been named the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Co-Specialist of the Week after impressive performance on the balance beam at Bridgeport. 

Kelley tied for fifth on the beam after posting a career-high 9.775 leading the beam squad to a record breaking team score of 48.450. The previous total was 48.350 which was set on March 3, 2019 against RIC. 

The Pride will travel to Ithaca for a quad meet with RIC on Sunday, February 1 at 12:00 pm.
