Birmingham, Ala. – March 14, 2026 – Springfield College's
Katherine DeFosse (Worcester, Mass.) earned her second career All-America honor as she finished fifth overall in the 60-meter hurdles this afternoon at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Birmingham Crossplex.
After running a historic time yesterday, DeFosse clocked a time of 8.66-seconds this afternoon to take fifth overall in the country and earn a spot on the podium for All-America accolades. In yesterday's prelim heat, DeFosse ran the eighth fastest time in Division III women's track and field history and fourth fastest ever at the NCAA Championships.
DeFosse's run today secured four points for the Springfield team score as the Pride tied for 42nd in the nation.
Springfield will open its outdoor campaign in two weeks at the UMass Dartmouth Corsair Classic.
