Marlborough, Mass. - March 30, 2026 - Springfield College baseball junior Josh Mayo (Westfield, Mass.) was named the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Pitcher of the Week for his impressive performance last week. 

Mayo pitched a no-hitter against Emerson securing the doubleheader sweep for Springfield College on Sunday afternoon. Mayo struck out a season-high ten batters, surrendered just two walks and became the first pitcher at Springfield to throw a no-hitter since 2019. 

The Pride host Castleton on Tuesday at 3:30 pm on Archie Allen Field.
