Williamstown, Mass. – May 10, 2026 – The Springfield College men's track and field team competed at the Williams College FIRE Meet over the weekend.
Springfield's best placement on the track came from
Luca Kabel (Merrimack, N.H.) as he took seventh in the 200-meter dash in 22.12, while
Isaiah Hannah (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) was seventh in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.35.
Raymond Brunson (Durham, N.C.) paced the Pride in the 100-meter dash in 11.42,
Tyler Fabbri (Andover, Mass.) led Springfield in the 400-meter dash in 50.98.
Springfield's 4x100-meter relay of
Tyler Davis (East Hartford, Conn.), Kabel, Brunson and
Ari Papadimitriou (Shelton, Conn.) took ninth in 43.85, while the 4x400-meter relay of
Caleb March (Hapden, Maine),
Parker Ruger (Rhinebeck, N.Y.), Fabbri and
Colin Hansen (Ipswich, Mass.) placed ninth in 3:23.56.
In the jumps,
Daniel Hyde (Monroe, Conn.) cleared 1.86-meters for fifth in the high jump and
Mike Anderson (Cromwell, Conn.) posted a mark of 5.78-meters for 17th in the long jump. In the throws,
Christopher Clark (Chicopee, Mass.) placed third in the javelin with a mark of 51.50-meters,
Peyton Blanchard placed 13th in the shot put (13.08-meters), 20th in the discus (38.99-meters) and 21st in the hammer (42.67-meters).
Springfield will head to Ursinus for the AARTFC Championships next week to look for final qualification marks for nationals.
