La Crosse, Wis. – May 23, 2026 – Springfield College junior
Mike Anderson (Cromwell, Conn.) and senior
Daniel McGlashan (Haverhill, Mass.) represented the Pride at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships with Anderson collecting his first career All-America honor.
Anderson, who has now appeared on the national stage three times in his career (two outdoor, one indoor) claimed the first All-America accolade of his career as he placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles in a time of 14.29-seconds. In yesterday's preliminary heat, Anderson clocked a time of 14.27-seconds to beat out Davin Gartley of Washington and Lee for the final slot in the finals.
Anderson collected two points for Springfield's team score as the Pride finished tied for 60th nationally and was one of only 68 programs from across Division III – of nearly 350 sponsoring institutions - to record points at this weekend's championship. Anderson ends his junior season as the school record holder once again in the 110-meter hurdles lowering his mark to 14.18-seconds, which he set earlier this year at the UMass Commonwealth Invitational.
McGlashan made his debut at the NCAA Division III National Championships in the triple jump this morning. The senior began his day with a jump of 14.03-meters (46-feet, 0.5-inches) before bettering it by over four inches to finish 19th overall with a leap of 14.14-meters (46-feet, 4.75 inches) on his third attempt.
