Springfield, Mass. — September 1, 2026 — This past summer, three student-athletes from the Springfield College men's lacrosse team took part in the 2026 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star Game.
Matt Webb (Northport, N.Y.), Brady Soldo (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Nick Savastano (South Salem, N.Y.) competed against other New England lacrosse players from across Division I, II and III for a premier lacrosse showcase of the region's top student-athletes.
All three student-athletes saw time in each one of the Pride's 16 games this past season as they were essential in helping the Pride dominate on offense. Webb was tied for the third most goals on the team with 20 while dishing out eight assists to total 28 points. Soldo was close behind with 26 points, 16 goals and 10 assists while Savastano tallied nine goals and one assist.
Under the direction of first year head coach Sean Quirk, Springfield finished the 2026 season with an overall record of 10-6 and a mark of 6-1 in NEWMAC play. The Pride secured the second seed in the NEWMAC Championship Tournament and reached the semifinal round.
