In his final year on the sidelines with the Pride after 42 seasons, Keith Bugbee was named NEWMAC Men's Lacrosse Coach of the Year along with his staff of Ryon Lynch, Zach Chandler, Jackson Lalonde and Steve Sheffield who garnered the title of Coaching Staff of the Year this season. These five led Springfield to the outright NEWMAC regular season title for the first time since 2016 and hosted the NEWMAC title game on Stagg for the first time since 2017 after a perfect 7-0 record in conference play.

"This is a great opportunity to highlight the college careers of these young men. For many, it is one last time for them to play an organized game against such high competition. It is also a chance to compete with players you may have battled against throughout your college career," said Tim Murphy, head coach of Johnson & Wales, president of NEILA and coordinator of the East-West All-Star team selection.
