- Graduated from Springfield College in 1949 where he played JV football, but he is being inducted more because he became a major figure in high school athletics in the state of New York for more then five decades following college

- Head coach in football (16 yrs.), baseball (20 yrs.), track & field (8 yrs.), wrestling (3 yrs.)

- New York State Public High School Athletic Association - football committee (1956-67), state chairman of the football committee (1967-71)

- Field representative - 1971-75 - advised, aided, mediated leagues, Sections, officiating groups, approved plans and facilities for state championships

- Executive Director - 1975-90

- Elmira (N.Y.) Sports Hall of Fame (1987)

- NYSPHSAA Section 4 Hall of Fame (1989)

- NYS Wrestling Hall of Fame (1990)

- NYSPHSAA Hall of Fame (2003)

- Town of Guildford, N.Y. Justice - 1991-96

- Supervisor, Town of Guilford. Chenago County - 1996-2009

- 27 boys or girls state championships tournaments resurrected during his tenure

- Earned numerous awards and served on numerous committees during his tenure
