- Only Springfield College runner to win IC4A Cross Country Individual Championship
- Placed among the leaders in the one mile and two mile races at the IC4A Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
- Finished in the top four at four New England Cross Country Championships, including two second-place finishes

- Only Springfield College runner to break 9:00 barrier in the two mile and 14:00 in the three mile
- Awarded a bronze medal in the 10,000 meters at the 1979 Hopeal Games in IsraelÂ
