Member of the 1971 Springfield College men’s volleyball team that reached the NCAA Division I Final Four along with UCLA, Ball State, and UC Santa Barbara
Totaled over 800 victories as a head volleyball coach at multiple NCAA Division I institutions
Head coach at University of Tennessee for eight seasons, leading the Volunteers to three SEC titles and four trips to the NCAA Tournament
Coached seven seasons (1987-1993) at Rutgers University as the head men’s and women’s volleyball coach, totaling over 200 wins, where he reached the NCAA Eastern Regional Championship six times and advanced to the NCAA Division I Final Four in 1990
Spent 16 seasons (1995-2010) as the head women’s volleyball coach at Temple, totaling over 300 wins. Reached the NCAA Tournament four times, and earned three Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year honors
Current head women’s volleyball coach at Lehigh University (2011-present)
On the United States Women’s National Team coaching staff for seven years and twice coached the World University Games women’s volleyball team
