-As a senior captain, led the nation in stolen bases with 36 in 29 games

-Played minor league baseball
-Head coach of baseball for 30 years at Paramus High School, with 538 wins, including nine league championships and three state sectional titles
-Head coach of wrestling for 23 years at Paramus High School, posting an overall record of 311-74 with 10 league titles, 12 district championships and five state sectional championships
-Six-time District, five-time Bergen County, and three-time Regional Wrestling Coach of the Year
-Named the New Jersey Wrestling Coach of the Year in 2003
-Named the New Jersey and Northeast Baseball Coach of the Year in 2011 and Inducted into the New Milford High School, Met League, New Jersey Coaches , National Wrestling, and Paramus High School Halls of Fame
