- Played for the Ludlow (Mass.) Lusitanos soccer club from 1953-1955 after Springfield College
- New England Golden Gloves boxing tournament runner-up
- Ran in the London, Ottawa, New York, and Boston Marathons
- Started wrestling programs in the Canadian Maritime Provinces
- At St. John's High in St. John's, Canada, coached three swimming and diving teams to high school championships
- In Canada, coached St. John's Dry Dock Soccer to two championships
- In South Dakota, started the first track and field championships in Pennington County
- At Brandon University of Manitoba; drew plans for the physical education complex, became first Athletic Director, and started the Manitoba Collegiate Athletic Conference
- In Bermuda, built the first public swimming pool facility
- Hosted Springfield College men's soccer team in Bermuda twice
- Hosted Springfield College Basketball Clinics with Dr. Edward Steitz in Bermuda
