Raymond spent 35 years at the helm of the Springfield College women's gymnastics program, producing six NCGA National Champions and coaching Springfield gymnasts to a total of 45 All-America honors.  Under her direction, Springfield won the 1993 and 1999 ECAC Championship and captured the 1996 NCGA National Championship, while in 1982, Raymond's squad captured the NCAA Regional Championship and placed fifth at the NCAA Division II Championship.

Her commitement to the development of the sport is evidenced by her involvement with the NACGC Women's Technical Committee, as well as the NCAA Division II Women's Gymnastics Committee, and was honored in 1991 as an original member of the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Committee.  She served as the chairperson of the USA National Collegiate Gymnastics Rules Committee for eight years and her talent and expertise garnered her opportunities to serve as the meet director for several national meets.  Additionally, she was the co-director of Springfield College's popular gymnastics exhibition homeshow, which annually attracted more than 3,000 spectators during Homecoming and Alumni Weekend.
