- Ramiro Mora is best known for his individual national championship in the still rings in men's gymnastics which he earned in 1989

- Born in Columbia, Mora was a tri-captain of the Springfield College men's gymnastics team in 1990

- He was a three-time All-American in rings in 1988, 1989, and 1990

- He was also an EIGL champion in 1989

- He finished third in the USGF's in 1988 and 1990

- Also a four-time Sparkplug (The Frank Wolcott Spirit Award) winner from 1986 through 1990 (most motivating)

- Was the individual Male Athlete of the Year at Springfield College as a junior

- Has been a gymnastics teacher in various capacities and a personal trainer since his graduation

- Currently employed by The Buckley School in Manhattan
