  • Ranks in the top five in five career statistical categories including winning percentage (.846, 1st), strikeouts (189, 2nd), innings pitched (251.2, 3rd), complete games (17, t-4th), and ERA (2.04, 5th)

  • Helped lead Springfield College to the 1970 NCAA Division II World Series, a team that was ranked fourth nationally (20-9-1) 

  • Earned NCAA Division II All-America recognition in 1970

  • Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 1970 and played one season in the NYPL for the Auburn Twins

  • Served as a teacher and coach at Kingswood-Oxford for 36 years, teaching biology and mathematics, and coaching soccer and baseball
